An Assumption that Drives me Nuts?

That petite girls can't be curvy.  I have long found myself with two fit options: Either it fits across my 32D chest and fits nowhere else, OR it fits in the shoulders and doesn't even come close to buttoning across my boobs.

What gives, designers?

Well, I know what gives.   Most petite girls must not be, or they'd make more options available since they would sell.

I'm always on the hunt for designers who accommodate my frame, and Shoshanna has to be one of my faves.

http://shoshanna.com/about.php

She designs specifically by bra size- so if you are a small with a large chest, or vice versa, she has something to accommodate you.  check out her about and her designs!

"I found that there were not any wearable, beautiful clothes out there for someone with my body type. I could never find a halter dress or strapless top that offered support for women who usually need to wear a bra. That experience inspired me to create the pieces that make up the core of my collection."
To ensure the best fit, tops are sized similarly to bras—based on both back size and cup size—and available in Petite/Small A-DD or Medium/Large A-DDD accordingly.
